His hypothesis is, not surprisingly, that the thing was designed by creatures from outer space. Well written and researched. The Sirius Mystery by Robert Temple This enriching treatise proves that we have indeed been visited by creatures from the infamous dog-star. A little unsettling because it is so true. The 12th Planet (The First Book of the Earth Chronicles) by Zecharia Sitchin If you don't believe that the human race was genetically engineered by aliens, you will after reading this. This world-renowned Sumerian and Judaic scholar (one of the few who can read cuneiform) researches Ancient Mesopotamian myths to prove that human civilization was given to us by the Sumerian gods, "the Annunaki", who came from an as-yet- undiscovered planet in our solar system (Nibiru) whose orbit is so long and so elliptical that it only comes around every 3600 years. Shows that the creation stories in the Old Testament are actually derived from the true tales of the Annunaki, who created us to work as slaves in African gold mines hundreds of thousands of years ago. Will blow you away. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.) The Stairway to Heaven (2nd Book of Earth Chronicles) by Zecharia Sitchin Sequel to The 12 Planet and second in a series called The Earth Chronicles. This one explores the idea that the Annunaki knew the secret to eternal life, or at least exceedingly long life, thus giving birth to the myths of Heaven and paradise. Sitchin also claims that on at least two occasions specially chosen human beings were allowed to eat from the Tree of Life and gain immortality themselves. (Does the name Enoch ring a bell?) Also contains a study of the Pyramids, Heliopolis, and Mount Ararat near Jerusalem, which Sitchin believed were all part of a huge landing system for alien spacecraft. The Wars of Gods and Men (3rd book of The Earth Cronicles) by Zecharia Sitchin The third and most disturbing of the Earth Chronicles series. This one shows that the Annunaki involved mankind in a series of Apocalyptic wars that nearly wiped us out because of a dynastic feud between the brothers Enki and Enlil. Secret Cipher of the Ufonauts by T. Allen Greenfield A fascinating and very thin book hypothesizing that extraterrestrials and Ascended Masters have been sending us messages in a cabalistic code called "Cipher 6" to reveal secrets about the Aeon of Horus. Contains a lot of information about the battle between the "Great White Brotherhood", who collude to enlighten humanity, and the "Black Lodges", who conspire to enslave us. The Monuments of Mars: A City on the Edge of Forever by Richard C. Hoagland Exhaustive research by this ex-NASA employee about the Face on Mars and other evidence of past or present civilization on the red planet. Amazing and quite believable. Communion : A True Story by Whitley Strieber A terrifying true story from this popular horror writer, who claims that he has been abducted by aliens at various times throughout his entire life, and they did not always treat him kindly. Backed up by the testimony of his friends and family. Very believable. After reading it you will sleep with one eye open. Transformation : The Breakthrough by Whitley Striber Sequel to Communion, in which Strieber relates more abduction scenarios and analyzes them in the light of new spiritual insight. Breakthrough : The Next Step by Whitely Strieber Yet another sequel. Strieber seems to be running out of titles at this point. The Smoky God by Willis George Emerson This wonderful book tells how a Norse father and son sailed into the inner earth and spent two years there.
